Trading Technologies and FairXchange integrate to enhance FX execution analytics

The move will enhance clients’ ability to measure execution quality, analyse flow and liquidity provider performance and optimise counterparty relationships.

Trading Technologies (TT) has partnered with specialised FX data analytics firm, FairXchange, in a move set to boost TT’s current institutional FX execution offering.

The collaboration embeds FairXchange Horizon’s analytics directly into TT’s platform, to allow clients trading FX to gain access to independent execution analytics spanning spot FX, forwards, non-deliverable forwards (NDFs) and swaps.

Through this expanded access, platform users are also expected to gain capabilities, such as measuring execution quality, analysing flow and liquidity provider performance and optimising counterparty relationships.

Tomo Tokuyama, executive vice president, managing director, FX at TT, commented: “Our goal has always been to give clients access to best-in-class technology across every aspect of the trading workflow.

“FairXchange Horizon complements TT’s institutional FX offering by providing independent, data-driven analytics that help clients evaluate execution quality, strengthen liquidity relationships and make more informed trading decisions.”

Through the integration, both firms aim to address a growing demand across the institutional FX sector for enhanced execution transparency and liquidity optimisation.

The collaboration is set to provide a more complete FX trading workflow required by market participants.

FairXchange Horizon was acquired by technology infrastructure provider United Fintech in November 2021, and the partnership with TT also aligns with United Fintech’s objective to scale and build out its platform across global markets.

“This partnership addresses a clear need within institutional FX trading for best-in-class analytics to manage liquidity relationships and execution quality,” added Tom Robinson, partner at United Fintech.

“Horizon delivers this by providing independent insight into flow, pricing and counterparty activity across the full FX execution workflow.”
