AllianceBernstein elevates internally for global head of trading reins

Move marks an extension of individual’s ongoing 22-year tenure at the buy-side firm, where he most recently served as head of fixed income and multi-asset trading.  

AllianceBernstein has promoted Matt Scott as the firm’s new global head of trading.  

Scott’s appointment marks an extension of his almost 22-year tenure at the asset manager.  

AllianceBernstein confirmed the appointment when contacted by The TRADE.  

He initially joined the firm in 2004 and has since held various senior positions.

Specifically, he has served as head of global rates, securitised assets, multi-asset and currency trading, as well as head of fixed income and multi-asset trading – his most recent position.  

During his time at the firm, he has also focused on trading interest rate and inflation derivatives, government bonds and securitisations.
