Atrium Network, a provider of connectivity solutions for the financial services community, and IP Trade, an IP-based trading communications platform, have announced a strategic agreement establishing Atrium Network as the global reseller of IP Trade trading turrets using an ASP model. Both firms will jointly focus on the asset management, hedge fund and prime brokerage markets.
Adopting an Atrium Network/IP Trade ASP solution for pure IP-based trading communications platforms will help financial services firms with smaller dealing floors and limited IT resources to realise the benefits of a unified communications strategy, according to the firms.
The strategic partnership brings scale to Atrium Network. Emmanuel Pellé, director of Atrium Network, says: "This strategic agreement is part of our growth strategy to offer convergence technology to global financial services firms.
