BNP Paribas hires for securities services in Asia

Mostapha Tahiri has been promoted to become head of BNP Paribas Securities Services in Singapore.

BNP Paribas Securities Services has announced a number of hires in Asia.

Mostapha Tahiri has been promoted to become head of BNP Paribas Securities Services in Singapore. Tahiri joined the Singapore office in 2009 as the head of asset and fund services for Asia.

He replaces Arnaud Claudon who has been promoted to the newly created role of global head of depotbank and fiduciary services. He will relocate to Paris.

Jonathan Xie has joined as the head of asset custody at BNP Paribas China. Most recently, he was deputy head of Haitong International Asset Management.

Angely Yip has been named as sales director for North Asia (ex-Japan). She will be based in Hong Kong, Before joining BNP Paribas, she held positions at asset servicing firms including Clearstream, JP Morgan and most recently, Citibank.

Yuki Teshima has joined BNP Paribas’ Tokyo Branch as a senior relationship manager. She has worked in global custody and fund administration for over ten years and previously worked at Brown Brothers Harriman and BNY Mellon.
