Brazilian broker Indusval Corretora has selected trading technology provider SunGard’s Valdi trading system for trade lifecycle management.

A long-established firm, Indusval Corretora provides execution and other brokerage services for a wide range of instruments traded on Brazilian exchange BM&F Bovespa.

The firm chose Valdi because it provides a multi-asset trading platform for order lifecycle management, order sending and monitoring, and real-time P&L calculation. The broker can now generate and send orders to market with real-time connectivity, helping it reduce costs and latency for the provision of data and information.

“SunGard’s strategy is to help traders become more successful by providing them with increased automation and the ability to trade multiple asset classes globally,” said Raj Mahajan, president of SunGard’s global trading business.

SunGard’s Valdi provides equities, futures, fixed income and options traders with multi-asset trading and risk management solutions on 130 markets worldwide. SunGard currently services some 25,000 customers in 70 countries.

Deutsche Bank made its suite of algorithms available for trading Brazilian equities earlier this month, while J.P. Morgan began stock lending in the country in May 2011.
