Joanne Kinsella, appointed head of portfolio at BT Global Financial Services (GFS) in February, has left the telecoms group to join Kevin Covington, her immediate predecessor, at ITRS Group, a provider of operational systems management tools to the finance sector.

Kinsella, who takes on the role of managing director of ITRS Americas, has quit BT as the firm gears up to expand its local low-latency connectivity loop, Radianz Ultra Access, to London. Already live in New York and Chicago, Ultra was one of a number of Radianz connectivity products for which Kinsella was previously responsible for new product development. She moved from head of market infrastructure at BT GFS to head of portfolio when Covington was appointed managing director of ITRS Europe.

“A significant opportunity exists in the Americas to build on our impressive customer base and grow the business through driving new relationships with banks, exchanges, hedge funds and execution venues. ITRS has a huge potential for growth as financial institutions look to implement real-time proactive systems management, improve their operational productivity and reduce risk,” she said.

Rajiv Bala Subramanian, previously CEO of ITRS America, is appointed managing director of global alliances and will be responsible for developing alliances, channel marketing, distribution and third-party relationships.

ITRS’s Geneos provides consolidated global, real-time proactive management and monitoring of software and hardware for banks, exchanges and hedge funds.
