Ashish Hansoty has joined Cadian Capital Management as an equity trader, based out of New York.
Hansoty brings almost two decades of industry experience to his new role, and joins the buy-side firm from Soros Fund Management, where he had worked for the last 14 years.
He initially joined Soros Fund Management in a role in the middle office in 2011, before becoming a multi-asset class trading assistant, and later stepping into his most recent role as an execution trader covering equities.
Hansoty also gained early career at JP Morgan, where he served as an associate in the middle office.
Hansoty confirmed his new role in an announcement on social media.
Cadian Capital Management had not responded to a request for comment at the time of publication.
