On 20 November, The TRADE held its Leaders in Trading Awards, recognising some of the best talent across the buy-, sell-side, vendors and trading venues.

The event saw Tony Whalley, former head of derivatives and equity dealing at Scottish Widows, and Seth Merrin, founder and CEO of Liquidnet, receive lifetime achievement awards for, recognising their long and active roles across the electronic trading business.
Leaders in Trading also featured two
buy-side boardrooms, sponsored by ITG and Linedata, where buy-siders got
together to discuss some of the most pressing issues affecting institutional
trading desks today.
