Yau confirmed his new role in an announcement on social media.
Deutsche Bank had not responded to a request for comment at the time of publication.
Yau’s new role follows further trader hires for Deutsche Bank in recent months. In March, the firm appointed Otis Bateman to an Australian rates trading position, joining from UBS, where he had been for the last nine years.
