Deutsche Bank has appointed a veteran from Citadel’s equities unit, Surveyor Capital, to head up its US client strategy for global markets.
Lori Arndt joins the bank as global head of equities client strategy, after previously serving as head of corporate and broker relations at Surveyor Capital.
With over 20 years’ experience in the industry she has held senior positions at both Goldman Sachs and Nomura.
Arndt will be responsible for equities client strategy, resource allocation, management reporting, reference data and monitoring tools across the bank’s equities products.
Deutsche Bank also hired Christopher McCarthy, a former director of investment grade corporate credit trading at BNP Paribas, as part of its US credit trading team.
McCarthy has been appointed director of investment grade flow credit trading and will focus on US investment grade debt.
A new director of research, Ronnie Shah, also joined Deutsche Bank from Gerstein Fisher Funds and had previously worked at BlackRock.
Shah will specialise on quantitative equity strategy for the Americas global markets team at the German bank.
