eSignal, the desktop solutions division of Interactive Data Corporation, has launched QuoteTrader, a free broker-neutral, multi-asset-class trade management and charting platform.

QuoteTrader provides simultaneous access to multiple brokerage accounts of a user and is powered by users’ existing brokerage data-feeds. It is also compatible with eSignal’s own data-feed. In addition QuoteTrader provides technical analysis and links to Quote.com, a financial portal offering global financial asset coverage, news and research.

“This is an unprecedented move in our industry offering a powerful real-time, decision-support and trading tool that works across the brokerage feeds that traders already have, and even supports multiple brokerages running with multiple feeds all for free,” says Chuck Thompson, president of eSignal.

eSignal says that with QuoteTrader, traders can use one platform to simultaneously access and trade in real-time across asset classes and accounts with more than ten leading brokers. QuoteTrader connects to major brokers such as Interactive Brokers Group, MB Trading, GAIN Capital, FXCM, optionsXpress, Oanda and TransAct. eSignal says it expects to connect QuoteTrader to additional brokerages in the near future.

QuoteTrader offers instant access to a set of decision-support tools, including its 3-D Depth of Market, real-time charts, streaming quotes support and portfolio management windows.
