On Monday, GL TRADE, a provider of multi-market software solutions for financial institutions, appointed Clive Pedder CEO, GL TRADE London Northern Europe.
Pedder, 50, joins GL TRADE from Misys where he held the positions of CEO asset management systems, CEO wholesale banking systems and COO core banking systems. Prior to this, he was CEO, MPCT Solutions Corporation, a provider of wholesale banking solutions.
His earlier career included sales, business development and management positions within Hewlett-Packard and Tandem Computers, focusing on the financial markets technology sector. He was subsequently involved in the development of European technology markets including Le Nouveau Marche, Neuer Markt and EURO.NM, and was a member of the management board of EASDAQ prior to its sale to Nasdaq.
