SS&C offers a complete cost-effective order management system (OMS) and execution management solution on a hosted basis. Antares OMS is a trade order management system that enables firms to manage and monitor positions across multiple portfolios and multiple trading desks within a single application. Inherently multi-asset and multi-currency, Antares supports equities, options, futures, FX, bonds, repos, and swaps.

Antares FIX Gateway allows integration with third-party execution management systems with Antares via FIX. Antares OMS is available both on a hosted and license basis. The systems currently support FIX v. 4.0 – 4.2 (up to 5.0 on the FIX network level, e.g. for ASIC short sell position reporting).

Both Antares OMS and Antares Trader provide easy access to 350-plus brokers worldwide via SS&C’s FIXLink Trading Community. 

Functionality

The system
includes pre- and post-trade compliance, integrated customisable portfolio
modeling, P&L reporting, and integrated allocation capability. Antares
Heatmaps, a visualisation tool for risk management, allows users to track value
of their portfolio holdings in real-time and quickly view current market
values, profit and loss information, and fund impact information, drilling down
by fund, portfolio, strategy or manager. Antares supports a complete
straight-through integration with portfolio accounting systems, both SS&C
and third-party providers. Antares is fully integrated with SS&C GlobeOp
Fund Services operations.

Data

Antares Trader is a customisable system with
real-time market data, list trading, and built-in broker algorithms.

Workflow

Antares OMS is integrated with SS&C
MarketTrader (Antares Trader), a multi-broker equity and options application
service provider-based execution management system, for users with more
advanced trading requirements. Antares Trader offers both basic built-in
algo-type rules and embedded algorithmic strategies from 30-plus brokers.
Antares Trader also includes real-time trading, P&L monitoring and broker
commission tracking.
