UBS — Pinpoint
Pinpoint offers front-end global access to UBS’s electronic trading platform. Pinpoint allows clients to manage single stocks, portfolios, listed options, foreign exchange and futures trades centrally.
The system also allows DMA and access to UBS algorithms in the major markets around the world, pairs, portfolio and cross-asset functionality, an interface tailored to fit client workflow, regional technical and trading support that “follows the sun” and can be integrated with client systems.

Connectivity and functionality
Pinpoint supports all Asia-Pacific trading
venues/trading counterparts via the UBS infrastructure. All UBS trading tools
are engineered to address local market microstructure, while delivering a
consistent client experience across countries and regions.
UBS Pinpoint is integrated with the bank’s DMA and
algorithmic trading suite. The system includes UBS DMA+, a unique order type
that modifies client orders to comply with individual exchange rules and
standards, while preserving the trading goal of the client.
Pinpoint relies on UBS managed infrastructure to
provide execution services.
Pre- and post-trade analytics
Through UBS’s web-based Fusion analytics platform,
clients have access to comprehensive pre- and post-trade analytics including
real-time transaction cost analysis. Fusion is fully integrated with Pinpoint.
UBS constantly updates its technology platforms in
response to market trends and conditions as well as client needs.
