Trading technology provider Horizon Software has appointed a 20-year business development industry veteran as its new head of sales for Asia Pacific to accelerate its expansion across the region.
Emmanuel Faure joins Horizon Software to provide management of the firm’s strategy across APAC with the aim of establishing a stronger presence there.
Faure brings over 20 years of management and business development experience in the Asia region to the role, having worked in several management positions at various major institutions.
He previously spent 14 years at Fimat, the global brokerage part of Societe Generale, in Japan and Hong Kong, and served as managing director of futures APAC at Newedge, HSBC Futures, Jefferies HK, and Ned Davis Research.
“Since the start of the year, we have seen our Asian business flourish, with new major banks, brokers, and exchanges on our client list,” said Sylvain Thieullent, Horizon Software chief executive. “Emmanuel is a well-respected leader in the Asian financial sector, and we are confident he’s the right person to build on our momentum. We warmly welcome Emmanuel to the team.”
Horizon Software added that its client base across Asia has grown in recent years and Faure’s appointment aims to support the growth with a local sales team.
“Firms are experiencing big challenges from the pandemic crisis and Horizon and its various teams can offer its clients an unrivalled service that really cuts to the core of what they need to support them through this period of volatility,” Faure commented on his appointment.
