ICAP appoints COO of exchange projects

ICAP, a voice and electronic interdealer broker, has hired Cathryn Lyall as chief operating officer of exchange projects, reporting to Mark Yallop, group COO. She will start the job on 14 April.

In her new role, Lyall will be responsible for global coordination of ICAP’s relationships with exchanges of which it is a member and for exchange-related projects. Lyall’s job will include liaising with regulators and potential customers as well as overseeing business and technology development.

“Cathryn Lyall brings substantial industry and exchange market experience to this role,” said Yallop in a statement. “She has contacts in the markets and we are delighted to appoint someone of her calibre to expand our business in the exchange-traded markets.”
