The TRADE’s Rising Stars of Trading and Execution Awards, 2025, in collaboration with Instinet, is taking place on 8 October at One Moorgate Place.
The evening will celebrate 25 of the most talented up and coming buy-side individuals, those who go above and beyond, whether that be through day-to-day activities or through thought leadership on industry platforms.
Previously recognised individuals have gone on to head up some of the largest and most successful desks across leading asset managers and hedge funds, and the latest cohort look set to be equally as successful.

The TRADE’s Rising Stars event of course wouldn’t be complete without an expert panel discussing all things rising stars, including what’s front of mind for heads of desks, which skills to prioritise, and some invaluable advice for the next generation.
Speaking this year will be Brian Mitchell, global head of dealing at M&G, Benjamin Mahe, head of high touch trading at AXA Investment Managers, Carla Quintero, fixed income and currency buy-side trader (and previous Rising Star) at HSBC, and Simon Dove, head of liquidity, Instinet.
