Financial technology provider Linedata has opened a new client support facility for the back-office in Hong Kong.
The new office gives Linedata clients local support across all regions, providing 24 hours of coverage.
Linedata said its new back-office support facility has already attracted new clients and improve relationships with existing clients in the Asia Pacific region.
The firm has adopted a “follow the sun” approach to client support, a service which was already in place for hedge-fund and front-office customers.
Linedata’s office presence will mean it is equipped to deal with regulatory and accounting requirements in different jurisdictions and provide increased scalability and flexibility for new instrument types and fund structures.
Arnaud Allman, chief operating officer, back-office, Linedata, said: “Providing local first line support for out multinational clients was the key reason for us investing in this new support facility for Linedata’s back-office business line. We have found we attain higher levels of client satisfaction with local first line support.”
