Former head of EMEA execution sales at Citi, Chris Jackson, has joined Liquidnet, The TRADE understands.
Liquidnet has yet to confirm Jackson’s new position at the firm, though it is thought he will report directly to Rob Laible, head of the block execution service’s Global Performance team.
Jackson had been with Citi since 2009, heading up sales of its execution products across Europe and the surrounding regions. Prior to joining Citi he was a director at Merrill Lynch for 12 years.
