Necakov rejoins Instinet as CTO

Instinet has hired Tony Necakov as chief technology officer to help the firm continue to grow its global trading business.

Instinet has hired Tony Necakov as chief technology officer to help the firm continue to grow its global trading business.

Necakov has over 20 years of experience developing trading platforms and joins Instinet from Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he headed up its global equities high touch trading technology group.

He has worked in senior trading technology roles for numerous Wall Street investment banks, including JP Morgan, Bear Stearns and Goldman Sachs. He also previously worked for Instinet.
