Japanese investment bank Nomura has hired Lori Arndt as managing director and head of US client strategy and corporate access.
Prior to joining Nomura, Arndt worked at Goldman Sachs for 14 years, spending seven years in the investment banking division and seven years in equities, most recently as head of corporate access in the US. She earned a BA with honours from the University of Pennsylvania and graduated first in her MBA class at Columbia University.
The Nomura US corporate access team complements the company's existing teams in Japan, Asia and Europe, comprising over 80 professionals.
“We are excited to expand our client offering to include an invaluable service that drives the investment process for our equity clients,” said Ciaran O'Kelly, head of equities, Americas at Nomura. “In combination with our research product and equity sales force, corporate access helps complete our product set in the US.”
Nomura recently continued the expansion of its Americas equities division with the addition of three senior cash equity trading hires.
