MUFG
MUFG Investor Services promoted Paul Collard to global head of trading for global securities lending solutions.
Collard announced his new role in a social media announcement, stating: “It’s an exciting time to assume global responsibilities. What was once a collection of regional markets and localised trading desks really has become an interconnected global ecosystem. Securities lending is now a market where geography matters less than ever before.
“We are one global trading desk operating seamlessly across time zones. This means we have to work closer together than ever before, embracing diversity of thought and experience whilst providing a genuinely global approach to serving our clients.”
Collard joined the firm back in 2020, having previously served in senior positions at Deutsche Bank and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein.
Kepler Cheuvreux
Kepler Cheuvreux has built out its KCx team, appointing John Meyers as a high touch sales trader.
London-based Meyers is set to join the firm in September, and brings more than two decades of sell-side sales trading experience to his new role, where he will support the build out of Kepler Cheuvreux’s execution strategy.
Meyers will report to Oliver Mudie in London, The TRADE understands.
He joins the European firm from Investec, where he spent just under a year as an international sales trader.
Prior to this, he also held the same position at Peel Hunt, where he worked for 10 years.
Previously in his career, Meyers has worked across various senior roles in international equity sales trading at firms including Societe Generale, Numis Securities and Morgan Stanley.
Meyers’ appointment follows an influx of high touch sales trading hires for Kepler Cheuvreux since the beginning of 2026.
