Ripple Prime unveils Delta One business to bolster equity derivatives offering

The new offering will provide clients with a single counterparty relationship and cross-margining exposure capabilities across US-listed equities, indices and digital assets through a 24/7 model.

Multi-asset prime brokerage platform Ripple Prime has launched a new Delta One business, aimed at enhancing the firm’s equity derivatives capabilities.

The new live offering will allow Ripple Prime clients to execute total return swaps, spanning US-listed equities, indices and digital assets.

The move is set to complement the investment decisions, risk mandates and reporting requirements of hedge funds, asset managers and other financial institutions, and will provide clients with a single counterparty relationship and cross-margining exposure capabilities on a 24/7 basis.

“The launch of our Delta One business is an important development for Ripple Prime and a natural extension of the platform we’ve built,” said Noel Kimmel, president of Ripple Prime.

“Clients can now access equities, FX, derivatives, fixed income, and digital asset prime brokerage, clearing, and financing all through a single counterparty that is built for the future of finance: cross-asset, structurally aligned, 24/7.”

The model also differs from Delta One desks that sit alongside market-making or proprietary trading businesses by operating solely in the clearing and financing flow.

The launch of the firm’s Delta One business is also set to expand Ripple Prime’s equities footprint, and aligns with its current prime brokerage, clearing and financing offerings, spanning asset classes including FX, derivatives, fixed income and digital assets.

Ripple has been continuously expanding its digital asset capabilities over the last few months, and in January 2026, the firm entered a multi-year partnership with LMAX to bridge the gap between traditional finance and digital capital markets.

As part of the collaboration, Ripple provides $150 million in debt financing to bolster LMAX’s long-term growth across asset classes.

Stablecoin Ripple USD (RLUSD) has also become a core collateral asset integrated into LMAX’s institutional trading infrastructure.
