Stifel has made two new additions to its global fixed income platform, appointing Conor Daly and Jim Franz as co-heads of leveraged finance sales in Europe.
Both will be based in London in their new roles, and bring extensive leveraged finance, high yield and distressed credit experience to the positions.
“We see a significant opportunity to grow our fixed income business in Europe and are investing in the people and capabilities to do so,” said David Rubulotta, global co-head of fixed income capital markets at Stifel.
“Daly and Franz are highly respected professionals with deep experience across the European leveraged finance market, and their decision to join Stifel is a strong endorsement of our platform.”

Daly joins the firm from Aurel Partners – part of BGC Group – where he spent three years as head of high yield and distressed sales and trading.
He has also held leveraged sales and products-related roles at Lloyds, Seaport Europe and Bank of Montreal.
Similarly, Franz joins Stifel after a 17-year tenure at Cantor Fitzgerald, where he headed up the firm’s European high yield and distressed business.
He also previously worked at Citi for almost ten years, where he focused on European high yield and distressed markets.
In a joint statement, Daly and Franz commented: “We are excited to join the firm at a pivotal time for the business and look forward to working with our new colleagues to capitalise on the opportunities ahead.”
