Texas Stock Exchange hires Coalition Greenwich head of equity market structure in strategy role

The exchange began live trading in July 2026 and is currently building out its franchise to launch ETPs, corporate transfers and IPOs over the coming months.  

Jesse Forster is set to join the Texas Stock Exchange (TXSE) in September, following a four-year tenure at Coalition Greenwich, The TRADE can reveal. 

Hire follows the launch of the exchange in July 2026, which commenced with initial live operations on 6 July, before beginning public trading availability on 10 July 2026.  

Forster is set to work in a clients and product strategy-based role at TXSE, The TRADE understands.

During his time at Coalition Greenwich, he served as head of equity market structure and technology.  

Before joining Coalition Greenwich, Forster spent two years at Berenberg as head of US electronic trading and a director in electronic sales and trading at Evercore.  

Prior to this, Forster spent 15 years at Instinet, initially joining as a manager in marketing strategy and analysis, before later taking on a vice president position in electronic sales and trading. 

TXSE declined to comment when contacted by The TRADE.

The exchange has confirmed that it will introduce auctions for the venue later this year, and ETP listings are set to launch in Q3 2026, followed by corporate transfers in Q4 and IPOs in 2027.
