Technology provider Townsend Analytics has added investment bank UBS’s Fusion web-based transaction cost analysis (TCA) platform to its multi-broker cross-asset execution management system (EMS) RealTick.

Fusion includes UBS’s real-time TCA product, which allows live, continuous analysis of client orders during execution, enabling clients to actively manage single stocks and portfolios between RealTick’s EMS and UBS Fusion.

“The addition of a broader range of UBS products enables clients to access a major global broker with established expertise across electronic execution and TCA tools. Our clients will be able to benefit from easy access to high quality single stock and portfolio trading cost analytics, both historical and real-time, adding substantial value to their trading decisions and execution,” said Peter Ward, head of international business development for Townsend Analytics, in a statement.

“Fusion makes real-time execution information available while clients’ orders are live allowing them to easily and efficiently manage, monitor and quickly adjust active orders,” added Tim Wildenberg, head of UBS Direct Execution, EMEA. “When delivered via RealTick EMS alongside our existing equity and equity options algorithmic trading and DMA services, the result is a set of tools that deliver tremendous opportunities to enhance performance.”
