Graham Wayne has been appointed as head of EU electronic trading at KCG Europe.
Wayne was promoted to the role from his previous position as head of product for European execution services at the group, which he joined in March 2013.
He spent 10 years at Citi in various execution roles, eventually rising to head of portfolio trading execution for EMEA. He then spent two years at HSBC as head of electronic trading products.
Prior to joining KCG he worked briefly at MF Global as head of EMEA electronic trading services and global head of program trading before the firm went into liquidation.
KCG has recently announced the sale of its KCG Futures unit to Wedbush Securities in order to focus on its primary market making and agency execution business.
