Market data provider Interactive Data Corporation has made a series of management changes to reflect its focus on accelerating growth in the Asia-Pacific region.

Cort Williams will become president of the company’s institutional sales organisation when Raymond D’Arcy, currently president of sales and marketing, becomes the firm’s new president and CEO in the first half of this year. Williams is currently senior vice president of Interactive Data’s major accounts and business development groups.

The company has also appointed Roger Sargeant, previously managing director of Interactive Data Europe, as managing director of international business. Among his priorities will be the alignment of Interactive Data’s resources in the Asia-Pacific region more closely with those in Europe and the Middle East.

“I am confident that by aligning our entire international operations under Roger’s leadership, we will be well-positioned to take advantage of the growth opportunities that are emerging in the Asia-Pacific region,” said Stuart Clark, current president and CEO of Interactive Data, in a statement.

In addition, the firm has hired Paul Kennedy as reference data business manager for Interactive Data Europe. Kennedy joins the firm from enterprise data management solutions provider GoldenSource, where he was vice president of product management.
