SimCorp’s Axioma risk and portfolio optimiser solutions have been selected by asset manager Fiera Capital to support the buy-side firm’s risk analytics and portfolio construction offerings.
The integration of SimCorp’s systems will enable Fiera Capital’s investment teams to construct and optimise portfolios more efficiently, while also aligning investment decisions with client-specific objectives and constraints.
“With Axioma, Fiera Capital is strengthening how risk insights are embedded throughout the investment process,” said Allen Zimmerman, senior managing director and head of Americas at SimCorp.
“It provides a centralised and scalable analytics framework, enabling Fiera Capital’s portfolio managers and risk teams to work from a common understanding of portfolio risks and opportunities. Together with risk modelling capabilities closely aligned to the firm’s investment focus, this supports more informed investment decisions and provides a strong foundation for future growth.”

Currently, Axioma Risk serves as SimCorp’s cloud-native risk management system, which spans equity and fixed income factor risk models, such as Canada-focused and regional North American offerings, and granular fixed income risk modelling.
The integration of the platform into Fiera Capital marks the latest asset manager to leverage SimCorp’s institutional portfolio capabilities, which includes approximately 250 clients in North America.
Most recently, Marathon Asset Management leveraged SimCorp’s investment management platform, SimCorp One, in June 2026, in a move to consolidate its front-to-back investment infrastructure.
The expansion marks an extension of Marathon and SimCorp’s ongoing partnership, initially established in 2010, and will see the asset manager retiring its legacy systems and establishing a single data layer across the firm.
In a similar vein, Pictet Asset Management expanded its relationship with SimCorp in May this year, to simplify the firm’s trading and operations technology platform.
The move is aimed at bolstering the efficiency of the firm’s trade execution, as well as portfolio management across its investment teams.
