Aegisoft, a global provider of trading software and services, has released AthenaSpreader, a server-based high-frequency spread trading solution.
AthenaSpreader is designed for futures spreaders, pairs traders and arbitrageurs looking to capitalise on high-frequency trading strategies.
The new product uses the same basic functions and algorithmic logic as Aegisoft’s AthenaTrader execution management system.
The trading software is targeted at market participants on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), BrokerTec, eSpeed and similar markets.
According to Aegisoft, AthenaSpreader will allow its users to benefit from more degrees of spread configuration, low-latency execution, unlimited legs per strategy and real-time and programmatic adjustment of parameters.
