Andy Maynard resigns from CLSA

Andy Maynard, global head of trading at CLSA, resigned from his job on Wednesday. He is being replaced by Nigel Beattie.

Andy Maynard, global head of trading at CLSA, resigned from his position earlier on Wednesday.

Believed to have been the only sell-side trading head in Hong Kong to carry the ‘global’ moniker, it is not known yet what his plans are.

CLSA has confirmed his resignation and added that Nigel Beattie will take over Maynard’s responsibilities.

Beattie joined CLSA 12 months ago as managing director, new business product development. Previously, he spent 14 years at Merrill Lynch, his last role being head of equity, APAC and Japan.
