Individual spent six years at the sell-side firm, where she worked across both analyst and vice president roles in market and electronic equity sales trading.  

The backing will support the firm in “broadening what's available on a regulated European venue and exploring with Nasdaq how other markets could benefit from the innovations we've made in market structure,” One Trading chief executive tells The TRADE.

New hire initially joined Jefferies in 2018 and worked across electronic and program trading during his time at the firm.  

New hire will head up the firm’s G10 rates (ex-Japan) offering and brings more than three decades of industry experience to his new role.  

Individual held a vice president position and had been at the firm for more than five years, The TRADE understands.

Promotion marks an extension of an ongoing five-year tenure at the market maker; previous experience includes positions at Quantlab Group and Deloitte.  

The agreement also includes a minority investment into the equity research platform from Citadel Securities.  

The offering will allow clients to connect Nasdaq Calypso agents with their own proprietary AI infrastructure and is expected to support the scaling of institutional AI adoption across the industry.
