Bank of America Merrill Lynch has shuffled its European trading execution team following the promotion of Yvonne Hansmann, previously head of execution sales in EMEA, to head of equities for France.

In her new role, Hansmann, who joined BAML is 2006, has relocated to Paris and will take control of the division's day-to-day equity product offering. She will report to Mike Stewart, BAML's co-head of global equities and co-head of EMEA global markets.

Hansmann's former role will be assumed by Ashok Krishnan, who adds execution sales to his current remit of head of execution services and will continue reporting to Stewart. Krishnan joined BAML as global head of direct market access in 2005.
