BNY’s LiquidityDirect to collaborate with cloud treasury and finance solutions business Kyriba

The integration will allow LiquidityDirect to leverage Kyriba’s SaaS to enhance its liquidity performance and increase its cash visibility.

BNY Mellon has unveiled a new collaboration between short-term investment platform LiquidityDirect and cloud treasury and finance solutions business, Kyriba.

Speaking to The TRADE, George Maganas, global head of liquidity services at BNY Mellon, explains that the move came following client demand: “At BNY Mellon we listen to our clients to better understand their challenges and create solutions. The Kyriba collaboration was driven by us working with them to alleviate problems, making their workflows more efficient, and also driven by our strategy to create better value for clients through partnerships and eco system integrations.

“We will continue to innovate across the ecosystem working with clients to drive operational workflow and investment efficiencies by addressing challenges with system and data fragmentation while integrating and simplifying treasury workflow to investments.”

The integration is set to allow LiquidityDirect to enhance its liquidity performance and increase cash visibility through leveraging Kyriba’s SaaS. 

Clients will also benefit from a holistic cash management process, which enhances the operational efficiency of self-directed cash management, payments and investments.

Addressing to the benefits of the collaboration, Edi Poloniato, global head of banking channel and working capital solutions at Kyriba, asserted: “Whether its cash visibility or trade execution, treasury teams are demanding increased efficiency and straight through execution.

As well as this most recent partnership, BNY Mellon confirmed that it is also set to continue collaborating with other treasury workstations and cash management systems.
