Global broker Bank of America Merrill Lynch has made its US options algorithmic trading platform available to users of Orc ExNet, a broker connectivity network provided by financial technology firm Orc Software.

Clients of Orc will now be able to trade US options and equities through Bank of America Merrill Lynch and use its algorithmic trading services, which include new options algorithms such as Clean Sweep, Hidden Sweep, Iceberg and NBBO Sweep.

“Orc users want sophisticated trading tools and our award-winning options algorithm platform, combined with our global market reach, will provide them with a robust platform for their trading,” said John Goeller, director of global execution services at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Orc ExNet provides buy- and sell-side clients with access to major liquidity pools around the world.
