Chris Hall has joined The TRADE Ltd. as editor of The TRADE, responsible for the editorial output and direction of the company’s flagship publication. He will lead an in-house team of experienced financial journalists, committed to maintaining The TRADE’s reputation for editorial excellence and independent incisive reporting. He will also work closely with the publisher John Lee to develop the company’s sister publication The TRADE Asia and daily news site, www.thetradenews.com

“Chris brings a wealth of experience to the company, having written on a wide range of topics across the financial markets, from equity and debt markets to foreign exchange and asset management,” commented John Lee.

Chris was previously the editor of Automated Trader, a quarterly journal focused on the use of automated and algorithmic trading techniques in the financial markets. Prior to this, Chris was head of media relations for a specialist finance sector PR and marketing agency, where he worked with leading financial institutions, consultancies and IT firms on a range of high-profile projects. As editor of gtnews, the leading treasury and banking website, Chris was responsible for broadening and expanding editorial coverage, Chris has contributed to a number of books of treasury, cash and foreign exchange management.
