Commerzbank clearing director leaves in latest shake up

Commerzbank's Abrahams left the bank in March, the TRADE Derivatives understands.

A senior director within Commerzbank’s OTC clearing business has left, following the recent news that the German bank’s derivatives head will depart.

Stuart Abrahams, director for derivatives clearing, market services and FIC, left the bank in March The TRADE Derivatives understands.

He joined Commerzbank in 2014 after previously serving three years at BNP Paribas within its European OTC clearing unit.

His departure is the latest from Commerzbank’s derivatives unit, following the decision by Eugene Stanfield, head of derivatives execution and clearing services, to leave after serving over 16 years at the bank.

A spokesperson for Commerzbank declined to comment.
