ConvergEx combines options complex order data feeds

Brokerage and trading services provider ConvergEx has launched a data service to bring together complex order book data across options exchanges.

The universal complex order book feed brings together market data from seven options exchanges through ConvergEx’s LiquidPoint technology platform.

Subscribers will be able to access the feed with significantly less cost than acquiring complex order book data individually from each option exchange. Reduced costs and administration will make using complex order book data significantly more efficient, according to ConvergEx.

The universal complex order book feed adds to LiquidPoint’s level-1 equity and Options Price Reporting Authority data feeds. ConvergEx said the move was in response to client needs for scalable data solutions to power their own proprietary applications.

Clients will be able to apply custom filters to identify trading opportunities on options exchanges, evaluate the marketability of orders and use more intelligent spread order routing.

“We continue to make investments in our options technologies and expand our market data services. And as many exchanges offer complex order book data, our clients can rest assured that we will always keep them ahead of the curve as the market evolves,” said Anthony Saliba, CEO of LiquidPoint.
