Investment bank Credit Suisse has hired David Norman as CEO for its asset management division in the UK and Ireland.
In the newly-created role, Norman will oversee the development of Credit Suisse’s asset management division and lead the management of retail and institutional client relationships, sales, product development and marketing efforts.
He will report directly to JC Perrig, head of Credit Suisse Asset Management for the EMEA region.
Norman’s previous roles include positions at asset management firm Insight Investments, Prudential Portfolio Management and most recently Morley Fund Management, where he was director of marketing and products.
“David’s appointment and the creation of this new role is evidence of our commitment to the UK and Ireland, where we continue to build on our strong momentum in the business,” said Perrig in a statement.
