Exchange operator Deutsche Börse releases preliminary changes to the weightings of companies in its equity indices today. The firm says the final figures, which will be based on Friday’s closing prices on Xetra, will be published on its website on Saturday. The changes will come into effect on 24 September.

The changes relate to the MDAX, SDAX and TecDAX indices. Tognum will replace Patrizia Immobilien in MDAX. Patrizia Immobilien will be transferred to SDAX and replace DAB Bank. Wacker Construction will also be included in SDAX and replace Loewe. Versatel will be included in, and Jenopticin excluded from the TecDAX index.

The exchange operator’s next equity index review is scheduled for 5 December 2007.
