Deutsche Börse has connected the first participant from the United Arab Emirates, TMG Trading FZE, to its electronic trading platform Xetra.

Deutsche Börse has connected the first participant from the United Arab Emirates, TMG Trading FZE, to its electronic trading platform Xetra.

According to Deutsche Börse, a new access point for Xetra will be available in Dubai from the end of this year, providing participants with direct network access to the Xetra trading platform. Deutsche Börse already has Xetra access points in Amsterdam, Dublin, Frankfurt, Helsinki, London, Madrid, Milan, Paris, Vienna and Zurich.

“We are delighted to have our first participant from this fast-growing region, which underpins our strategy of expanding into new markets and regions,” says Rainer Riess, managing director, Cash Market Development.

New Xetra participants receive a trading fee discount of up to €3,000 per month for the first 12 months, as well as an introduction into the functionalities of the Xetra system.
