Dex joins Fidessa to head up derivatives development

Paul Dex, who previously held senior roles at LIFFE and BNY Mellon, joins Fidessa to front its derivatives business development.

Technology provider Fidessa has appointed Paul Dex as Business Development Manager for its EMEA derivatives business.

Dex has held a number of senior roles in derivatives, most recently as managing director of financial product development at BNY Mellon.

He also spent a total of 10 years at London derivatives exchange LIFFE, where he eventually rose to run its European sales operation. He has also held key roles at SEB Futures and RBS Futures.
