US broker-dealer Enclave has strengthened its focus on international markets with the appointment of Harold Warren as head of trading.

US broker-dealer Enclave has strengthened its focus on international markets with the appointment of Harold Warren as head of trading.

A veteran of emerging markets, Warren brings more than 20 years of international sales trading experience to Enclave.

Warren began his trading career in Asia, before running the emerging markets desk in London for Robert Fleming and Deutsche Bank, specialising in markets throughout the Middle East, North Africa and Russia.

Scott Fauver, head of brokerage at Enclave, said the firm’s buy-side clients would benefit from Warren’s insights into frontier and developed markets.

“Harold’s depth of experience and hands-on approach will bring substantial value to our buy side clients in North America,” Fauver said, adding that Warren’s understand of trading and sales trading would be a particular benefit.

“Harold has an enviable track record working across the globe and a unique understanding of both trading and sales trading. His contribution to our current momentum is already evident,” Fauver said.

Enclave’s international securities platform links with brokerages in Australia, the UK and central Europe, in addition to emerging markets in Turkey, Indonesia and Africa.

The company also provides algorithmic trading solutions through its broker-dealer Deep Value Enclave.
