EuroCTP, the European initiative to establish a consolidated tape in the EU, has welcomed Alexandre Roubaud and Jaafar Amrani to its advisory committee.

“By joining the committee, these recognised professionals in the financial sector will help enrich our discussions and contribute to the creation of an optimal European shares and ETF consolidated tape,” said EuroCTP in a social media post.

Rouband currently serves as EMEA head of secondary and options markets at BlackRock’s iShares Global Markets.
He has spent nearly 12 years at BlackRock, having previously served in a broker dealer execution role for ETF capital markets.
Rouband also serves as a member of the Secondary Markets Standing Committee (SMSC) consultative working group at the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA).
Elsewhere in his career, Rouband has held ETF-related roles at Credit Suisse, BNP Paribas Investment Partners, LaBranche Structured Products and Credit Agricole.

Jaafar, who also joins the advisory committee, currently serves as head of EMEA liquidity strategy at BNP Paribas CIB Global Markets.
Prior to that, he held a cash equity-related role at Exane.
Elsewhere in his career, Jaafar has served as a financial services management consultant at both Stanwell Consulting and Equinox Consulting.
“The advisory committee brings together experts from various backgrounds to provide valuable insights on the development of the European consolidated tape,” added EuroCTP.
