Pipeline Trading Systems, a US-based block trading venue, has hired Mary Lou Giustini as the new director of sales for its Chicago office.
Giustini will work closely with fellow sales director Susan Hines and associate sales director Joe Merrick in Pipeline’s Chicago office. Before joining Pipeline, Giustini was managing director of equity sales trading at Merrill Lynch, where she co-managed the investment bank’s sales and product offering in the Midwest region. She had served Merrill’s buy-side client trading desks since 1988.
“Mary Lou is widely-recognised in our industry as a leading and knowledgeable institutional trading expert,” said Fred Federspiel, president of Pipeline, in a statement. “Her experience and insights will further enhance the resources devoted to delivering our clients with superior execution performance.”
Giustini is an active board member of the Security Traders Association of Chicago and the co-founder of the Chicago Financial Women’s Association.
Pipeline is headquartered in New York and has offices in Boston, Chicago, San Francisco and London.
