GAIN Capital Group, a provider of Foreign Exchange (Forex) trading and services for institutional investors, yesterday launched a new margin trading platform FOREXTrader for Windows. It was tested with a select group and is available free of charge to GAIN Capital Group global clients.

“In 2000, we revolutionised online currency trading by introducing the Forex market to one-click dealing from live streaming quotes,” says Mark Galant, CEO, GAIN Capital Group. “Today, we’re pleased to unveil the next generation of our flagship FOREXTrader platform, which provides our clients and partners with a comprehensive suite of trading tools in a highly configurable and intuitive user interface,” he continues.

The newly-launched platform is built on Microsoft’s .NET framework, designed for professional users and active retail traders and providing them with a robust and secure internet-based trading solution.

“The platform was developed with ease of use, performance, customisation and security as our driving design principles,” says Andrew Haines, vice president, Application Development. “Many of the new features are based on input from our clients,” he continues.

New features include redesigned order entry screens to facilitate faster input and edits to existing orders, more tools and security features, enhanced charting capabilities, customisation, auto execution capabilities and a redesigned interface. With the launch of the new platform, GAIN Capital Group now offers clients a choice of four trading platforms and a fully functional mobile trading solution.
