Gissing Software, a routing and market data vendor, and ITRS, a provider of real-time application management systems, announced on Monday that four customers are now using their joint solution.

Bank of America and Mitsubishi UFJ Securities International are among the customers using ITRS’s flagship Geneos product suite alongside Gissing Software’s multi-vendor contributions system, Gissing ConteX MCS. A real-time interface to the ITRS Geneos product suite within Gissing ConteX MCS allows users to manage and resolve potential issues that arise, ensuring minimal disruption to their mission-critical real-time data contributions, says Gissing Software.

Since the integration between Gissing ConteX MCS and ITRS Geneos 12 months ago, the companies have added a number of additional features in response to customer demand. The inclusion of a new 'heartbeat' field for Gissing ConteX MCS on the ITRS console enables users to ensure that the contributions system and all monitored handlers are live and working at all times. In addition, the firms say a new status template allows clients to monitor hourly statistics from Gissing ConteX MCS, giving them a clear indication of the level of load that the system is under throughout the day.

“We are using ITRS Geneos to monitor systems within the company,” says Jason Ross, director, rates trading group, Mitsubishi UFJ Securities International. “The solution, currently deployed in our London office, enables us to monitor and actively manage several of our mission-critical systems, all from a central console,” he explains.
