NYSE Euronext
NYSE Euronext offers a
range of data products
including real-time data, historical
data and hosted service
SuperFeed.
Real-time data services
include exchange data
products, data feeds and
databases. The exchange's
market data technology
includes feed handlers, ticker
plant technology, messaging
middleware and a real-time
consolidated order book that
aggregates over 170 data
feeds globally.
NYSE Euronext's historical
data includes daily trade and
quote (TAQ) information,
which provides users with FTP
access to all trades and quotes
for all issues traded on NYSE,
Nasdaq (OTC), and regional
exchanges for the previous
trading day. Short-sale records
and summary data as
mandated in Reg SHO by the
Securities and Exchange
Commission is also included.
FTP capture files of realtime
data feeds are currently
available for most US data
feeds and will soon be
available for European data
feeds. FTP products include
OpenBook History and
ArcaBook, which allow users to recreate the limit order
book at any point in the day
or over a period of time.
Imbalance and alerts
datafeeds are also available as
historical FTP files.
SuperFeed is a hosted,
managed service that
provides customers with
broad access to data from
major US, European and
Asian markets in a single
normalised format.
According to NYSE Euronext,
SuperFeed was developed to
meet client demand for a
single vendor solution that
provides cost efficient access
to multiple markets via ultra
low-latency connections such
as its Secure Financial
Transaction Infrastructure
(SFTI) network or
co-location services.
Fee structure
NYSE Euronext offers market
data administration services,
including entitlement and
data management software,
to help firms lower their costs
for market data and market
data administration.
Summary data is
available free of charge on
nyxdata.com.
Customisability/analytics
Clients are able to use custom
TAQs to help build tailored
trade data reports online. The
exchange also provides a suite
of tick data management,
analytics and complex event
processing solutions in
conjunction with OneTick,
which it claims will enable
users to build queries and
analyse data rapidly, while
lowering the total cost of
ownership.
Delivery channels
Real-time data from the
NYSE Euronext group and
from other markets can be
provided over the SFTI
network or through selected
third-party vendors.
Future plans
NYSE Euronext aims to
continually enhance the
performance of its data
services and solutions to help
clients connect to all major
equity and derivative markets
globally in a cost effective
manner.
