US broker-dealer Instinet has completed the integration of its US equity research onto its cash equities agency execution platform.
Its US equity research was previously provided to Instinet’s clients via Nomura Securities, but the integration now provides users with content and execution from both parties.
Mark Govoni, president of US broker-dealer Instinet, said the move is aligned with a number of industry themes, including heightened focus on quality and unbundling.
Penn Egbert, head of US equity research at Instinet, added the integration will drive value for its clients and complement the firm’s equity research and execution platform.
Plans to integrate Instinet’s US equity research onto its platform was first announced in June this year.
Instinet said at the time it would create a “boutique-style content offering”.
