Interactive Data promotes insider to CEO role

Interactive Data Corporation, a financial data and analytics firm, has appointed Raymond D’Arcy, a long-serving executive at the firm, as its new president and chief execution officer.

Interactive Data Corporation, a financial data and analytics firm, has appointed Raymond D’Arcy, a long-serving executive at the firm, as its new president and chief execution officer.

D’Arcy succeeds Stuart Clark, who will serve as an advisor to Interactive Data before retiring this summer. D’Arcy will also becomes a member of

Interactive Data’s board of directors.

D’Arcy has held a variety of senior sales, marketing, product management and finance positions at Interactive Data during the past 30 years, most recently as president of the company’s sales and marketing organisation.

“The transition between Ray and Stuart has progressed smoothly, which has allowed us to bring the succession process to completion,” said Rona Fairhead, chairman of Interactive Data’s board of directors, in a statement. “The Board would like to thank Stuart for being an outstanding chief executive and for helping to establish Interactive Data as a trusted industry leader with a broad range of high-value offerings.”
